Counselors—Our Federal partners have asked us to set up a process to refer Californians who request American Sign Language to a counselor who has ASL ability. We have asked your Program Coordinators to tell us if they have counselors who know ASL. Stay tuned, after we collect this information from all of our CCP agencies, we will distribute more information to you on this process.

The second of a four part suicide prevention webinar series hosted by CalMHSA will be held on Tuesday February 8th, 2022. Webinar #2: Sociocultural risk and protective factors associated with suicide among BIPOC youth. This webinar will look at system level risk factors that impact self-injurious thoughts and behaviors (including suicide attempts) among BIPOC youth.
