Program Spotlight – Allies for Every Child
Allies for Every Child (Allies) has a nearly 35-year history of working with Los Angeles’ most vulnerable children and families, supporting children’s healthy development and helping mitigate the devastating long-term effects of deep poverty, trauma, abuse, neglect, and social and economic injustice. Allies exists to serve children and families with the deepest need, providing the tailored, trauma-informed services necessary for children to succeed. Today, Allies serves more than 3,500 clients each year with a wide array of comprehensive services, including high-quality early education, foster care and adoption, infant and early childhood mental health, family strengthening programs, child abuse prevention, early identification and intervention services, and more. And through CalHOPE Allies is hosting pantry pop-ups all over the community to provide much needed food, resources, and a listening ear. www.alliesforeverychild.org
