Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva November Newsletter
During this time where many families gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to share how thankful I am for the wonderful people I get to represent in the 65th Assembly District! As the nights begin a little earlier and the weather gets a little chillier, I want to continue to keep everyone up to date on some wonderful opportunities my office has in store for the month!
AD 65 November Events
Be sure to join me this Veteran’s Day, November 11, as I attend the unveiling of the Korean War Memorial Monument here in Fullerton, CA. A project that took years in the making is finally going to be available to celebrate the brave men and women who served during the Korean War. The unveiling will begin at 1 p.m. Please participate in the many Veteran’s Day ceremonies throughout the day!
Happy Thanksgiving! For those of you who are in need of food and resources for the holidays, please be sure to stop by as my staff and I join United Across Borders, and other local elected offices, for a Turkey and Food Distribution event. The Distribution will provide turkeys, food and essential needs to families on November 20, in the City of Buena Park. For more details, please contact my District Office at 714-525-6515 or email my District Director, Amy Ramos.
